Christmas Opening Times
We will be running the restaurant as normal up to and including lunch on Sunday 21 December.
Our restaurant opening hours between Christmas and New Year will be released in November.
New Year’s Eve
We are excited to be hosting several festive feasts this New Year’s Eve - a 4 course lunch and 7 course dinner to see us all merrily rolling into 2026. To join the celebrations, please book here.
The Feasting Lunch (1pm)
A decadent four-course set menu, £55 per person. Guests are invited to arrive from 12:30pm, with lunch beginning at 1pm. We’ll gently draw things to a close around 3pm.

The Prelude Dinner (6pm)
A celebratory seven-course set menu, £75 per person. Guests are welcome from 5:30pm, with dinner beginning at 6pm. When the clock tower strikes 8pm, we’ll invite you to carry your New Year’s Eve revelry out into the night.

The Overture Dinner (9pm)
A seven course feast at £95 per person. Guests are invited to arrive at 9pm, with dinner beginning shortly after. By the time midnight nears, you’ll be sated and glowing, spirits lifted, ready to join Newnham’s yearly ritual of welcoming in the New Year at the clock tower.

There will be a vegetarian or vegan menu and we accommodate most dietary requirements, just let us know when you book so we can prepare something delicious for everyone. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the absence of traces of nuts & other allergens.
NYE Booking Terms & Conditions
£55 per person is required to secure your booking. This amount will be deducted from your final bill, which will include any additional charges, such as drinks or supplements, payable by card on the day.
A discretionary 12.5% service charge will be added to your bill.
In the event of a change or cancellation, the deposit will be refunded, less any credit card processing fees. Changes to this reservation can be made up until two weeks before the booking (17 December 2025).
Please note that the À la Carte menu will not be available on 31 December.
