Chef

We’re looking for an experienced chef to join our small, open kitchen. This is a permanent position for a chef with a good grounding in quality kitchens, but moreover a positive attitude and a real desire to develop and improve your craft.

Chef patron Fred Page has extensive experience in Michelin star restaurants, and learning and refining your skills alongside Fred will be a central part of the role. Our menu changes weekly according to the seasons, we make almost everything from scratch, grow our own produce and source directly from small-scale farmers. 

You’ll need to

  • Run daily service and prep with efficiency and consistency

  • Run kitchen compliance and maintain high standards of food hygiene

  • Handle quality ingredients with care and attention

  • Contribute ideas to developing new dishes on our ever changing menu

  • Place nightly orders and uphold great supplier relations

  • Butcher whole animals / fish

Requirements

  • Solid experience in a quality kitchen

  • A can do attitude: calm under pressure, reliable and an eagerness to learn

  • A passion for sustainability, provenance, and minimal waste
