Chef
We’re looking for an experienced chef to join our small, open kitchen. This is a permanent position for a chef with a good grounding in quality kitchens, but moreover a positive attitude and a real desire to develop and improve your craft.
Chef patron Fred Page has extensive experience in Michelin star restaurants, and learning and refining your skills alongside Fred will be a central part of the role. Our menu changes weekly according to the seasons, we make almost everything from scratch, grow our own produce and source directly from small-scale farmers.
You’ll need to
Run daily service and prep with efficiency and consistency
Run kitchen compliance and maintain high standards of food hygiene
Handle quality ingredients with care and attention
Contribute ideas to developing new dishes on our ever changing menu
Place nightly orders and uphold great supplier relations
Butcher whole animals / fish
Requirements
Solid experience in a quality kitchen
A can do attitude: calm under pressure, reliable and an eagerness to learn
A passion for sustainability, provenance, and minimal waste
