Market Garden Assistant – Awre GL14

We’re looking for enthusiastic and practical helpers to join us in the Post vegetable plot at our market garden in Awre. You’ll be working alongside Penny and the team to support the growing of heritage vegetables and flowers for the shop and restaurant.

Tasks include:

• Watering, weeding, and harvesting seasonal produce

• Assisting Penny with sowing and caring for heritage seeds

• Preparing & delivering veg boxes to Post

• Keeping the garden and tool areas tidy and well-organised

• Helping with composting and basic garden maintenance

No formal gardening experience required – just a love of the outdoors, vegetables and a good work ethic. You’ll need to be physically fit, ready for any weather, and happy working solo or as part of a small team. Driving essential.

Wage: dependent on experience
